Cat is a pansexual Filipina writer and an Erasmus Mundus International Master in Children’s Literature, Media, and Culture student who writes about memory, trauma, magic, and history. She graduated with a degree in Literature (English) from Ateneo de Manila University, where she was awarded the 27th Loyola Schools Award for the Arts for Fiction Writing. She has also received fellowships for fiction in English from the 2020 University of Sto. Tomas National Writers Workshop and the 25th Ateneo HEIGHTS Writers Workshop. She’s currently based in Barcelona, Spain.
