Cat S. is a self-taught artist and began her relationship with art at an early age. She studied Visual Communnication at the University of the Philippines College of Fine Arts, where she found work as a book illustrator. Since graduating, she has worked as a graphic and web designer. In 2015, she returned to her love of traditional media and visual storytelling and started producing short story comics using watercolour, gouache, and graphite. She publishes them online and exhibits at comic conventions. She is the artist behind Permanent3rdGrade.com, a website showcasing whimsical comics and experiments in visual storytelling.
